Starting Over

Life is a series of do-overs in which we get as many second chances as we need to learn from experience and get it right the next time. We may stumble and fall along the way but there is always hope to sustain, prayer to guide us and faith to help us bear up. As it says in Isaiah 43: 19, “Behold, I will do a new thing; now shall it spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”

Finding Inner Peace

In times of tumult and fear, we all yearn for tranquility and inner peace. During our trials and tribulations, we can draw the strength we need to persevere through the words of scripture. As it says in Philippians 4: 7: “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.”

Answers to Prayer

The answers to our prayers may not always be what we expect, but they are always what God has in mind for us. For, as it says in Matthew 6:8: “. . . your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.”

Hold On to Hope

Where there is hope, there is spirit. Where there is spirit there is grace. Where there is grace there is God – exhorting us, encouraging us, urging us to carry on with His support. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in your latter end.” (Jeremiah 29: 11)
